Definitely the best game of the year. One of the best ever, actually. Big plays, little plays, blocking, picks, sacks, this game had it all. Lots of scoring - highest combined scoring all year with 13 TDs.
Game came down to a college-style overtime that worked really well. Each team started at the 15 and had 4 plays to score. Then the other team gets the same chance (playing in the same direction so there is no wind/sun/turf advantage/disadvantage) Play continued until at the end of an even number of overtime series, one team was ahead. GREAT addition to the game. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of the idea a few weeks ago.

Lot to talk about here. Leading all players this week was Leo with 196 yards on 10 catches and 7 rushes. Leo had 9 first downs and a TD. Jesse also had a monster game with 134 yards, 3 TDs, and a 1st down on 5 receptions. So that's 5 receptions, 3 of which went for TDs and a 4th was only a 1st down. Chris had 130 yards on 5 receptions and a run, 2 for first downs and 1 for a TD. Jimmy was Mister Sure Hands with 8 catches on 9 targets for 103 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 first downs. Finally Adam had 95 yards on 5 receptions but 4 of them were for first downs and most of the yards came on YAC.
In all, 9 players had TDs.

We had a lot of picks and defensed passes this week. Mark, Street, Jimmy, Nick, Ray, and Ron all had a pick and a defensed pass. Jesse had 2 dfensed passes. Donnie had 3 sacks. Chris had a pick and a sack. Biscuits had a pick. Day had a defensed pass and a sack. Adam had a defensed pass and 12 flags. Ron 7 flags. Leo, Jimmy, Ray, Jesse, and Mark each had 5 flags.
MVP: I'm going to have to come up with some kind of point-based system to do Flag Football Fantasy scoring to help do this. How do I choose this week?
Leo clearly had a monster game on offense with nearly 200 yards for a TD and 9 first downs but did have 2 drops. Nick had a 62.26% completion rate and nearly 400 yards passing. He did give up 4 picks but they weren't all bad decisions. And, Nick got the game ending pick. This is very important to me. He had injured his hamstring earlier and was able to jump for the pick and the play came on 2nd down. There is a very real possibility that had he merely defensed the pass, then Red could have scored and the Overtime play would have continued. Red might have won the game.
