Little different story this week. 900 yards passing and a 44% completion rate. I'm starting to think that it's not just pressure that makes the difference. Having only 3 receivers means fewer defenders per square yard of field which means more chances for big plays and it's harder to get help on a play (of course Mark and Matta were both out so I'm sure that they'll claim that the reason both QBs had good days was their absense).

Awards:
MVP - Day with Red's only offensive TD plus 3 sacks on defense.
Offensive Player of the Game - BB 67 yards on 5 catches of 7 targets plus a TD is a nice day in which therewere few yards to be had. In fact, had Yellow won the game, BB would have probably been MVP.
Defensive Player of the Game - This was tough with all the great defensive performances. BB and Nick's 3 picks each were pretty outstanding. However, I'm going to award this to Canadian because he had very good stats (2 picks, a defensed pass, and he broke up another play by forcing Street to throw it away) but especially because he didn't give up on a play that almost anyone else would have given up on and that play probably saved the game for Red. Yes, Red would have had another drive had Jesse scored on that last catch but with the strong defense we were seeing in this game, Yellow probably would have held on for the win.
