9 on 9 rarely makes for a good passing day and our 4 QBs combined for only 26 completions out of 70 throws (with one drop) with 6 picks and were sacked a total of 5 times. Nick clearly fared the best with 4 TDs and a 46.67% completion rating (I'll have to see if this was the best QB performance in a big game this season - it was certainly pretty good).

Leo led with 63 combined yards (primarily on 2 runs). Derek was next with 55 and a TD. Then Chris had 50. Jimmy had the most catches 5 on 7 targets, though Chris was close with 4 of 6.

Leaders were Canadian with 2 pics and 3 flags, Nick with 2 defensed passes and a pick, Adam with a pass defensed and a safety, and Daniel who had 8 flags and a pick - he seemed to be everywhere on defense. Other picks went to Kuzi and Louis who also had a defensed pass. Derek had 2 defensed passes included a beauty he nearly picked away from Canadian. Chenault, Chris, Wags, Brian, and Michael each had a sack.

MVP: This was a little tough because Adam had a nice game and should have had much more getting open fairly often later in the game when Leo went to rush the QB. Plus a good game on offense and defense are always preferable in picking the MVP. However, by that standard, Nick deserves it. He wasn't as "on" as he normally is at QB but his defensive play was great and he was a difference-maker in his QB play. Maybe it was Red's pass protection that made the difference but where it's close, I'm certainly not going to award it to Adam and look biased. Adam went into this game wanting to play with Nick this week and he showed us why.
