3 players had over 100 yards. Jesse led again with 184 yards on 5 catches (off 5 targets) and a run which resulted in 2 TDs and 3 1st downs - so basically 5 of the 6 times he touched the ball, the result was a TD or 1st down. Next was Nick who had 146 yards for a TD and 5 first downs on 13 QB rushes. Then we had Paul with 149 coming from 4 catches and a rush which resulted in 2 TDs and 2 first downs. Finally we had Leo with 134 yards, a TD, and 4 first downs on 9 receptions.

Jesse had 3 defensed passes and an ill-advised pick. Chenault had 3 sacks and a half QB pressure to go with 6 flags. Paul had 2 dfensed passes and a pick. Talbot debuted with 2.5 sacks. Mike was the day's flag leader with 8.5 including a sack. Street was next with 8 flags and a pick and a defensed pass.

Awards:
MVP - normally the award goes to a player who had a big game on both offense and defense but Cain's QB performance this week can't be ignored.

Offensive Player of the Week is Jesse for all the reasons noted above.

Defensive Player of the Week was a little harder to choose because there were a number of strong defensive performances this week. However, I have always said that the game often comes down to which team can protect its QB and pressure the other QB. By that standard, Chenault wins the award this week.
