Street's 50% completion rating was pretty darn nice, particulary since he had receivers drop 2 of his passes. 4 TDs and only one pick are pretty nice too. Nick had some problems with the ball going to the other team but he still finished with 290 yards. The 3 sacks show you how much pressure he was under.

Even if you take away Ray's 72 yarder, he still would have had nearly 100 yards! 2 TDs were also nice. We actually had 2 guys with more than 100 yards. Canadian had 109 yards on 4 catches and 2 rushes. Jesse had 88 yards and a TD. Curtis had 81 yards and a TD. Adam demonstrated why he likes smaller games with 79 yards and 2 TDs. Travis may not have had the yards but they kept taking him into the endzone with 3 TDs. Even in a game with only 12 players, 3 TDs is a big deal.

Canadian had 4 defensed pases and a pick. Street had 1 defensed pass, a sack, and 2 picks (one returned for a TD). Day had a pick, a defensed pass and a sack. Jesse had 3 defensed passes and Barry had 2 defensed passes and 2 picks. Normally flags aren've really thought of as a big stat but Ray had 11 (and no, they we're all from "his man"). To put it in perspective, the rest of the red team put together only had 9 flags.


MVP: I know that people hate it when I give the award to a player on the losing team but my idea of MVP it first goes to the player with the most dominating performance. The guy who was totally on and who was simply unstoppable. By that standard, the award goes to Ray. His 166 yards of offense with 2 TDs and flying around getting flags like he was huge. So many of his catches were in double coverage and he still came up with them. Congrats to Ray. Had Ray not had merely an average day, the award would have gone to Street or Travis.
