Big games usually mean low yards and that was certainly the case this week where our first 9 on 9 game in over a month resulted in only 437 passing yards total for both teams. However, Street did manage to post a greater than 55% completion percentage.

Anthony lead receivers with 5 catches on 5 targets 71 yards and a TD and 2 first downs on offense. RChin was also money going 5 of 5 for 67 yards and 3 first downs.

Red had defensed 12 passes and Yellow had 11. Red and Yellow each had 3 picks. However, Red got more sacks and QB pressures than Yellow and that was probably the difference. Mark was teh week's sack king with 3. He also had a defensed pass and a QB pressure. Anthony was INT-king as the only player with 2 but Barry had 4 defensed passes. Street, Brandon, Anthony, Day, Matta, and Ray each had 2 defensed passes as well.

Awards:

MVP this week goes to Anthony who had a rock solid day on both offense and defense.

Offensive Player of the Game goes to RChin who was second leading receiver and was always fighting for more yardage.

Defensive Player of the game goes to Mark for several reasons. While Curtis, Adam, and Cain, and Chenault all helped keep the pressure on and combine for 8 sacks and 4 QB pressures, Mark also made a number of very key stops where the ball would be thrown on his side of the field and he'd turn back and go up to get the flag - this wasn't just on plays where he was dropping into the flats. There were several plays where I saw him behind the line of scrimmage and turning back to make a play. Nice hustle which definitely saved some yards.
